I hope this is an OK place for this thread. It appears we do not have a CZ forum in the "Armory", and the 805 doesn't belong in the PCC forum either. So I'll ask this here...

I'm thinking about building an 805 SBR with a 14" barrel (Similar to what's pictured below). I think starting with a carbine would be the best route, as opposed to
starting with the pistol. That said, it looks like the barrel profile may not be very forgiving to shortening and recrowning/threading.

Can anyone confirm or deny that the barrel on the carbine can be shortened? Thanks.
