Can one be converted to SAO?  If so, is it expensive?

Yes you can convert it. Doesn't cost a whole lot, but there's no real reason to do it other than being able to have a slightly adjustable trigger as far as pre and over travel.

Yes, just a trigger swap will do it.

I was considering a trade for one, but I don't like DA/SA. I like the gun though.

It's not suppose to be hard, you'll need a new trigger and a few parts to make your life easier when replacing the trigger, I was going to do it myself but sent it own down to Cajun gun works and had them do it plus a trigger job and it is very nice to shoot.

Yes, and not too expensive, just be sure you start with a safety equipped SP-01 and not the decocker "Tactical" model.

Can you do it to the tactical version?

Pins are in a different location.

When swapping triggers do you just need to remove the pin, pull out trigger, insert new trigger, replace pin? Or do the entire inner workings need to come out to remove the trigger? Also does the disconnector need to be removed?
