I own the TP9 and I think it is a great pistol for the money. I will be for sure adding the new SA model to my collection as well. My only gripe with the TP9 is the trigger pull and I have found with practice staging the trigger accuracy can be dramatically improved...but I still wonder in the back of my mind if there is not some way to lighten the pull. Overall the trigger design is not something I am familiar with (like removing and polishing the glock trigger components). I have to believe someone out there would know some way to do it though?

Someone did just this and posted it on youtube.  I don't have the link but search youtube for tp9 trigger and you should be able to find it.

put in a Glock striker spring in place of the OEM Canik one and it'll improve drastically.  I did mine today.  Direct swap.  About 1/2" shorter overall and reduced pull by around 2# on each.  Awesome for $5 and 5 minutes.

Is this the spring at the back of the gun that you can see moving every time you pull the trigger with the slide off? If so I have a glock spring lying around right now after I replaced one of my glocks with a NY1.

no the striker spring is wraped around the fireing pin the stock glock spring 5# works good.

Consider a TP9 V2. They have really perfected the trigger in the V2 version. It's as nice or nicer than any P99 or PPQ I have owned.

Is it 100% reliable? This was an old trick people did on their p99QA's and I don't think it was always 100% reliable. I have a Glock striker spring in the spares box to show for it.

It was with mine.  I avoid CCI blazer though as a rule after several malf's in even hammer fired guns I owned.

Any chance this will work in the SA model  ? to reduce trigger pre travel ?
