I purchased a Rock Island Armory Standard 22TCM/9mm 5" today.  very nice gun and trigger is crisp and light.  I have some 22 TCM on order so range report soon to follow. A lot of gun for the money.  Very pleased

A friend has a 22 TCM and it is really an intriguing cartridge.  With the factory 40 grain HP it has been pretty impressive.  The muzzle flash and blast is more than a hot 357 Magnum 125 grain JHP out of a 2 1/2" barrel revolver.  The 22TCM recoils like a 40 grain 22 LR out of my AA 1911 kit.  This is one flat shooting cartridge and no hold over is needed at 100 yards.  My friend's  RIA 22 TCM has been very reliable and accurate.  The only criticism is the double stack pistol which is to large for me to carry concealed.  If RIA would offer the 22 TCM in a single stack pistol I'd be more interested.  I'd even consider the commander length as I still think the 40 grain bullet would be 2000+ FPS out of a 4 1/4"  barrel.

My friend hardly ever shoots with his 9 MM  barrel in this combo.  I need to try the 22 TCM on my single stack frame since my Friend also has 9 MM 1911 mags.

took the RIA 22 tcm / 9mm out to the range today, shot the 9mm barrel. shoots great, NOT A SINGLE malfunction.  I can say enough good things about the 1911 double stack RIA.  Great gun for the money.

Armscor was great also, return time on ordering spare mags and 22tcm ammo was very quick.  

Now to get out and shoot the 22 tcm barrel
