Hey guys,

So I have a WWII era Russian Tokarev with no import mark or safety.
The finish is pretty much non existent but to me still a sexy pistol.

I've heard that I have to watch out for some of the surplus ammo because they were for submachineguns.

But recently, I've also heard that commercial produced ammo these days are also hot and not met to shoot out of old tokarevs??

Any input anyone?? Is my best bet is to handloard?

Sounds like the one I have (1939 Tula) I've shot commercial S&B ammo through it and had no problems.You should *not* shoot the 50's Czech stuff in it is what I've heard. Commercial should be fine if you can find it
