Just wanted to share it with the group. I haven't been this happy with a pistol in a while. Gun has a .105 front FO and a 10-8 .125 rear sight. Other than that its just good mags and it hasn't failed me once.

That's a good looking gun. I don't have the patience to wait for one to be made.

Sweet 1911. I like the bottom rail on it. Can you tell me how you do the custom shop with Springfield? Do you buy the gun direct from them or do you send them what you have? Also what version did that start out as?

Your dealer will order a gun to your specifications. SACS can give you the MSRP of a Custom Carry spec'd out how you want it, then your dealer calls, they give them a price, your dealer gives you a price. I believe a 1/3 payment is required up front then the rest is due once the gun in complete. wait time is usually around 12+ months.

SACS are mad geniuses.

I told them to build me the 10mm monster and they said, "sure, WTF not?"

This! ^^

And what coating is on the barrel? I like the black barrel vs the chrome/polished ones you see on most 1911s.

Nice looking pistol. SACS builds a great gun that is often overlooked compared to the big names, Wilson, Brown, Baer, Nighthawk, ect.....

If you (for any reason decide to sale) I will gladly give you my money.
