What is the difference between these 2 models in stainless other than the sights and possibly the grips?

Seems like the trophy match is the premium model yet the TRP costs a little more.

Time for me to get a top line 1911 to go with range blaster STI.

Took the plunge and got the Trophy Match. Great looking gun, just got it today so have not fired it yet.

Not familiar with the field strip for a full length guide rod and will have to learn that. Not sure about that ILS thing on the backstrap, seems unnecessary. Maybe it can be made to disappear.

It was $1860 Can to my door, taxes, shipping and insurance all in.

A few 1911 threads leads me to believe the differences are cosmetic.

Get the TRP if its a home defense gun.

Love my TRP...added the light and all set!

Trophy Match has a lot of sharp edges that the TRP won't have. Wonderfully accurate gun, but not so great for carrying w/o some smoothing, IMO. Yes, I own one.
