Picked up this S&W 1905 3rd change today for $300. Round butt (someone along the way put square conversion grips on), 4” barrel. Serial number 236xxx puts it in the 1909-1915 range. Not in terrible shape for a ~108 year old gun. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up and taking it to the range. Also on the hunt for a set of round butt grips for it.

Picked up two, I had by eyeballing a 586 L-Comp for a while and got a fairly good deal on one new:
   At the gunstore this Ruger polished blue GP100 was calling out to me. It was "used" but looks new. I added a Dawson front fiber optic sight and threw on a set of Altamonts I had laying around:   |

I was going to go with a nice set of wood but most didn’t work with the moon clips or the full length extractor rod so I ended up with the old tried and true CT grips for my 640 Pro.
