I got my S&W letter for my 4inch RB Model 19-5 today in the mail. Turns out to be a Dept of State revolver issued to the uniformed Marines in the Diplomatic Security Service guarding embassies back in the late '80s to early '90s. Makes a nice brother for my decommissioned USMC M45A1 1911.

Rare bird for sure. Never seen a four inch round butt 19. Odd they were still buying blued guns in 1988.
