I just bought one at a gun show last Friday. Unfortunately, it will be about two weeks before I take possession of it.
Alfa revolvers have been available here for quite a while, but they were unusual and seemed to have zero marketing. Lately, they seem to have increased distribution heavily.
Normally they are sold as 'long barrel revolvers', basically just the carbine version with the stock removed. For some reason, the carbines are very difficult to find, and the one I bought was the only one their main distributor had in stock. We can't have a barrel below 12" inches or an OAL below 24" inches, so the stockless carbines don't make much sense to me...
How good it will turn out to be, I don't know. The warranty is poor at only a year, but their main dealer claims that Alfa has very good customer service, which is a possibility from a Czech manufacturer. They aren't the most finely finished revolver, but I just need it to be reliable and durable.
Whilst they are uncommon in America, they are quite popular in Canada. There's probably quite a bit of information about them on Canadian forums.
