I bought 50 rounds of Magtech .357 158gr FMJ and 50 rounds of Geco .357 158gr FMJ

Why do these rounds have different bullets?  What will the differences be when firing?

Different brands outsource or make different bullets.

The Magtech looks closer to a RNFP and the other more like a Truncated cone. It won't really matter much, although some guns might like one bullet over another.



You will likely notice the Geco is snappier, this is due to it being manufactured in Europe, their ammo tends to be a bit hotter.
