Wife was wanting to replace the rubber grips on her 638, so after some research we found Altamont. During this time, I was speaking with my neighbor who began talking about how he has always wanted ivory grips for an old Model 13 he has. Well, Altamont had originally said the grips were made to order, and would take 2 to 4 weeks, which I agreed to the wait. I couldn't ask for a better neighbor, so I decided to call Altamont and add a set of bonded ivory grips to my purchase. The guy I spoke to said the grips had already shipped, but made a new order and didnt charge shipping. This company is truly stand up. They went out of their way for me.

Enough talking. Now for the good part... these are their "combat dragon scales" and cost $55. I got them in the color "silver black"
