Well ok, it's not new - but new for me.  I took stock of the safe and realized I had 5 AR's and not one revolver at the moment.  A local guy was looking to trade this Model 19-5 2-1/2" for an AR so we are both happy.  It's over 30 years old - don't know exactly when it was made, serial number on butt is AHF 9808.  Not mint, it does have a bit of high edge wear and one idiot ding on the right side above the trigger but still looks good to me.  It also came with 100rds of JHP, speed loader, the felt lined leather holster and a set of rubber pachmeyers but I like these grips that were on it.  The JHP's were 125's, I know about it needing 158's so went out and bought those for it in 38 Special and .357.

Super nice.  I like those grips.  Although I'd have to have a tyler t grip with them.

Golly that thing is purdy though.  How's she shoot?

Not sure.  The seller had said "custom made" and you know how that goes.  It is well made though.  When I got it I looked for makers stamps.  On the inside of the paddle it is stamped 357 and Made In Mexico.  Earl

That is one of the few guns that I regret selling. Perfect carry piece.

Yeah, but we have no patience for that kind of thing around here.  LOL.  I'm just teasing.

I don't shoot as much as I want to and I have a new pistol here I gotta get to the range and shoot.  Plus I need to run some more rounds through my wheelguns.  I bet you're going to have fun once you do shoot it.  I would love to hear about it.

Nice pistol OP !

I traded a gen 4 Glock 23 for this one a few months back and felt pretty good about the deal ---   it has enough weight to settle it down and be as accurate as my 4" guns if i do my part  --- I like it

Nice pistol Earl.

Just picked up a revolver in .357 this week myself.  ruger match Champion.

Also, if you have not been to grabagun.com  check it out.
You can go to their storefront in Coppell.
