Millet Red Dot to top off my new Mk III Hunter. All that resting on a bed of 500 rounds of 12 gauge ammo.

Let us (ME) know what you think of it.....

I want one.
Him: So, roof bolting supports a couple tons, right? What about the other million tons above that?

Me: I try not to think about that........

Well went to day and shot bout 650 rds through it.

Put 300 rds of Rem. Golden Sabers 147gr +P+, 300 of Hydra Shock 147gr +P and 50 of Wolf FMJ.

Not a single hick up. Mags loaded with no problem. I was able to load by hand to its full capacity of all the rds. At first I had a bit of an issue with the FMJ Wolf hitting the mag catch. I had to use the speed loader but I remember the manual said to push the tip first then the back and they went it without a problem. I decided to use the Golden Sabers for my home defense round since it had the less of a flash.

As for shooting, it was better than expected. Very well balanced and little recoil. As for accuracy I can't attest to that because I'm not a very good shooter with hand guns, but I put all my rounds center mass in the first 2 circle of this paper at 10 yrds . My wife is better shot so she manage to get them closer.

For comparison, I shot a HKS 9mm USP compact, a Walther P99 and the M9 Beretta we carry at work. I like the ergonomics of the SR9 over those other three. The trigger was crisp after the first 100 rounds. It took a bit to get it there but I like it.

Now I be in the look out if Ruger release the a SR40 :D
