Idk if he ever ran it or much it was like new or new.
I didn't ask him how it ran as i've owned and shot countless ruger 22pistols (my dad was in the gun buisness you wouldnt beleive how many i've shot)
Never had an issue so I won't call him out as i didn't ask.

The gun ran like shit to put it mildly from failure to fire , failure to extract to failure to feed.
I got this for my wife and to say she's determined and hard headed is an understatement she thought it just needed braking in.
7k +rnds later it still ran like shit and she flys to visit family in Australia.

I promptly call ruger explain the issue.
They send me fed ex shipping label.
I ship pistol two days later my dealer sends email my stamp is in

I go get supressor 5 guys doing paperwork all at once for cans.
Two weeks later i get fedex notice package on way to me from ruger.
I couldn't take off work yesterday so missed it.
Go to pick up last night mfr i got another guy's drivers license when doing supressor pickup.
So no package. I get ahold of dude drive an hr to get dl swapped.

Today i was sick so i got the pistol back.......

Pretty easy I was thinking about suppressor and other host's

ETA the other dude must have been too so it's pretty easy to dumbass out when your in suppressor / gun euphoria.
