I put one on layaway today and googled it when I got home...how bad is this lead fouling issue?
I'll be shooting Blazers, federal bulk/automatch, CCI mini mags, t bolts and 333's through it and don't want to have to constantly scrub the bore. If this is a huge problem maybe I'll get the m&p22c instead

I bought one about 2 months ago. Have anput 2k through it and love it except when i try and disassemble it. Mine seems to have maintained accuracy so i havent scrubbed the bore yet.

Which one did you get?
Just a small percentage are affected and it is only certain models. |

I have the cobalt and have zero issues. I have only heard about it in the model you ordered, but never from anyone I know who actually owns one.

Just get a cobalt or a blue one. They are great when they work.

I'm going to go ahead and switch it out for the m&p22c.
It will be a better trainer for the wife anyways. edit:: Got the m&p22 c. Hopefully I can get off work at some point to shoot it

I ran a couple hundred rounds through my m&p22c and it ran like a top. Ran some T-bolts, federal bulk, fed automatch, and mini mags through it. Only issue I had was a automatch that must not have had any powder in it, luckily the bullet did make it out of the barrel. I do like how the 22/45 lite feels but the m&p does mimic my other pistols MUCH more closely. |
