Kimber custom II crimson carry .45ACP in very good condition?

Picture of it looks very very good.

What is this gun worth.  I see it's made in New York.  I thought they were made in Oregon??

I have a Custom Carry, and it says it was made in Oregon.

I guess I missed something along the way??

They moved a while back.  I wish you luck.  Hope it's a steel frame gun.

They were made with something other than steel frames?

Some Kimbers have Aluminum frames.  I had a Custom Covert II that had a horribly gouged feed ramp after one round.  Wouldn't run Ranger or Gold dots.  Only FMJ.  Kimber didn't want to deal with me saying put more rounds through it.  Sold for a $5-600 loss.

It is my understanding that the Custom Crimson Carry II has an aluminum frame.

Mine does. I have an older Ultra carry II. I bought it used with a beveled mag well conversion. I haven't shot it much but it worked flawlessly. I sent it to Kimber to have night sights put on. They charged me about $40 for the labor plus the sights.

I haven't tried hollow points yet. You have me curious though about the feeding of those. I'm going to run a couple of mags through to check it out.

I don't see any real wear on the frame. I keep my semi's somewhat "wet" though or use slide lube.
