This topic hasn't been discussed really and all I see is custom shops doing the cutting services...

Is HK coming out with a RMR ready handguns yet?

I understand that HK does its own things but they are kinda behind the race...

This is exactly why this HK fan has gone elsewhere. Own 2 MP5's, SP89, USP9, HK45c and want a full size, high cap, suppressed 9mm with a nice trigger and RMR. Want the P30L but it just can't compare to the factory milled Sig....waaaaay better trigger and can't beat the price of the factory milled slide. Only thing that sux with the Sig is that it's milled for only their sight.

Also pissed HK destroyed the value of my unfired sp89 by relaunching and mass producing the SP5k, which they still didn't have the forethought to put a damn rail on top for an optic. Wake up HK!

You won't see a factory milled RMR slide from H&K for several years (if at all).
H&K is a very conservative company when it comes to firearms design.

I bought into the USP line a couple
of years ago, after looking strongly
at the FNX Tacticals.

Fast forward to a couple of months ago,
when some waved a slightly used FNXT
under my nose. I bought it, and then a
new one. Both now sport RM08G's.

Ambi everything, RMR ready, 15 round
mags, suppressor height tritiums, standard
rail, interchangeable back straps, a nice
soft case, and 3 mags. This kicks the USP's
a$$, feature for feature.

The FNX had 2 problems 2 years ago.
One of them FN corrected, but the other
one can be corrected in about 5 minutes
with a Dremel.

I'm not trying to be a smart a$$, just
telling you where it ended for me.

I still have the USP's, and I won't sell them,
but the FN is what I wanted them to be.

YMMV

Damn damn damn...
USP is definitely falling behind. HK really needs to get out of their comfort zone pronto...

I have money ready for an RMR ready HK handgun. All they have to do is release one.. Take MY MONEY!
They are so focused on the stupid VP9! STUPID management!

The USP is a 28 year old handgun design that's still selling at a good rate, H&K has pretty much zero incentive to do anything to a design that old that's still profitable.
The USP slide internal configuration would require a complete redesign for a RMR cut, that's not going to happen. Even the VP9 slide is not RMR friendly at all and would require significant modifications to meet H&K's standards.
If you're waiting on a factory RMR USP or VP9 you'll be waiting a very, very looooooooooong time. As in it isn't going to happen.

We've been waiting 28years for a decent trigger, me thinks it's never gonna happen because they apparently don't listen or just don't care.  Sig has HK beat across the entire spectrum, this coming from a long time HK fan. MK25 RX FDE here I come.

Except when it comes to consistency in manufacturing, which directly correlates to reliability and durability.
Sig has a bad habit of completely screwing up a good design with cheap components and/or shoddy quality control.

P30 was designed in response to the demand in improvement of usp.
Military and LE are moving away from usp and to p30 or p series. USP is clearly losing in sales...

I actually meant to say HK. USP is so iconic I sometimes say that instead of HK by a mistake

I forgot to mention the most
important feature for the FNXT's.

They are available in FDE!

The P-series slide internal configuration is not RMR friendly with the reliability and durability margins that H&K is famous for building into their designs.
You'll never see a factory RMR P-series either.

That's kinda like saying HK isn't gonna change the rail configuration to mil std on USP.
HK isn't known for upgrading their pistols. If they at all decide to make rmr it's gonna be a new line of series
