Looking to add with my VP9 and Hk 45T.  love both and just looking for something new. Strictly a range toy, not looking to carry or use for duty.  Weapon will see mild suppressor use. Opinions or both please

As an owner of a 45CT, if you're just getting a range toy I'd rather the USP-T. It has nice adjustable sights, a match trigger, and shoots a slightly cheaper bullet. All of these make for more enjoyment at the range.

The flipside is true if for carry. I like my 45CT for carry as its a small package for 9rds of .45 (at least, small by HK standards). While the adjustable sights are nice on the USP-T, I prefer the tritium combat sights on the 45CT. I usually carry 9mm, but have found my 45CT carries great even with the extended threaded barrel. But as that's not your needs, that's not my advice. Either one are a lot of fun at the range though.

The very obvious choice here is the USP Tactical 45. Twelve rounds, match trigger, threaded barrel and one hell of a range toy and arguable one of the best 45's ever made. I'm a bit biased though.

USP Tactical is the correct answer if it's an option.  Even if it isn't an option actually..

I want some 45Super ammo for mine. Holy shit.

I own and love both and while I like the Mepro sights that came on the 45ct more than the sights on the USPT, I am gonna have to vote for the USPT too. The USP is more accurate, easier to shoot, better suppressed because of the raised sights and simply cooler.

Happy shopping,

99.9% sure it is since its the AE date code when the colored frame USPs were made

It is a factory OD frame. HK only made 500 of the USP tacticals in OD back in 2004 and this is the first one of that run. They very rarely come up for sale and are the hardest of the colored frame HK's to find. They did make 500 OD USP 45's but those didn't come with the threaded barrel or match trigger.

Thanks! This is one that I won't ever sell. It has quickly become my favorite pistol of all even over the Wilson Combat.

Just picked up a USP45 Tactical used.  Came with 12 mags, GGG rail adapter, soft case.  1200.

First HK ever owned.  And probably not my last.

Having owned the HK45CT if I were to do it over again I would get the USP Tactical.

Which soft case was it? I've been thinking about selling mine, but wasn't sure of current pricing

I'd vote USP-T even though I own the 45CT. Only draw back to the USP is the silly proprietary accessory rail.

But just for S&G's, here's my 45CT with AAC Tirant 45 Short.

Both! Haha, well actually I would pick the 45c since you already have the full size HK45t. The USP is a better gun at the range though, for me at least. I always enjoy shooting full size pistols over compacts. My favorite thing to waste ammo on is trying to hit the 200 yard steel at my gun club with the USP T. Usually get at least one out of 12!

I have both the HK45T and HK45CT...

I prefer the full size when running a can. The Compact just feels too fat and short.. Not very balanced.
