I didn't even notice.
My new P30SK has the "VP9" grip texture. I personally prefer the old "P30 & HK45" texture. I feel like the older sandpaper texture grips better. But I can live with the"VP9" texture too. Edit to add: my mistake. The P30SK has always had the VP9 texture. |

I thought it was the P30 series first, then the VP9 came out next. HK wanted to save costs and used the same tooling for certain parts.

VP9 grip looks and feels cheaper than the P30 to me.
