I have (4) Glocks and a J Frame...

I pick up a HK45C. I liked the way it felt in the hand.

what should I expect?

Some of the finest handguns ever made. Great shooters, well built, and you might very well throw your Glock's away just so you could buy more HK's.

Prepare to pay double what you're used to for mags.

I have a USP-9 LEM with Jet Funnel kit, USP-45, HK45, and an MP5 Pistol (Turner Fab TP-9).

And I carry a P2000 as my service weapon.

Yeah, mags are painfully expensive.

Should've picked up an HK45CTactical.

Expect your bank account to become smaller to non existant.

USP 9 and USP TACTICAL 45 here and a USPC 40/357SIG once my income tax return is cashed.

USP .40 and Mark 23 here.  Hoping to get some form of USP 9 later this year.  Not sure which yet though...

What should you expect besides the negativity from the haters and cheap folk? Spoiled and a ruined bank account from wanting to buy more HK's.

Welcome, be sure to report back after a range trip to confirm that you can never go back to shooting your glocks.

I can confirm that these are some of the best sidearms out there... Someone close to me who I grew up with has 5 of them, from .45 to 9mm, and I've come to find that I don't even want to consider buying anything else(other than maybe a F5.7) as my personal first purchase(just turned 21). Smooth firing, easy cleaning, de-cocker, smooth trigger pull, and damn accurate. Very pricey though.

I've owned two now and I just prefer the simple nature of the striker fired guns. The build quality was nice though.

VP9 = I'll wait till they work out the teething issues.

What's the other? I checked their website and didn't see anything.

I got a little excited at first, not going to lie

OP: enjoy your work of art. They are indeed masterpieces in engineering.

Thanks! I agree. I'd rather save up and get one good quality firearm than not and get a few mediocre ones. Plus, my friend said I was more than welcome to borrow his for a time, as he's got five but only two hands. I guess he has a shooting problem... LOL
