Can anyone reccomend a good kydex holster maker for a vp40 with a tlr1.  I have scoured the interwebz and have found oy a handful of makers and they have long lead times.  I was hoping the vp9 and .40 were compatible but no dice

Nope.  The VP40 is made a little beefyer.  

You are probably going to have to order and wait.  Bravo concealment has been good for me thus far, but have found their TRL made holsters created "hot" spots on my leg that gets uncomfortable rather quick IWB.  I have no experience e with Raven with HKs.

Look into DSG Arms.  They might have them by now.  I've been satisfied with their USP and light kydex.

Great gear.  If you're ok with a black holster, they have a quick ship option that gets your holster out within 5 days.  Custom options still have a pretty short lead time.  Check 'em out.
