After hearing lots of good things about the VP pistols I decided to get one.  Maybe next time I will buy a newer model VP.

The trigger leaves a little to be desired but at least its easy to load the mags.  Its a 1981 model.

Shoot it yet?   It's cool,  but awful ugly.

They look like those toy Star Trek pistols we had as kids that shot little plastic discs.

Trigger leaves a little to be desired?  That's an understatement!  Handled one at a LGS a couple years back. Horrible trigger is how I would've described it. As cool of a part of firearm history it is, I don't think I'd add one myself to the P7 and VP9 to complete the HK striker family. Unless I got one real cheap.

Still pretty cool to have the first polymer pistol, especially being striker fired.

Now I know where high point got their design cues.

Mine was surprisingly accurate once you got used to the trigger. I kind of reminded me of a staple gun. Nice gun though.
