A-ha, thanks brother. Let me reassure you though: there is no comparison. Italy is gone. Despite the fact that I could have (there) owned a couple models more, all the rest sucks balls. There is NO comparison. I love it here. I love the US more than any other country on earth (and I've seen many). Thanks!

Any mods needed to fit it? Too bright for indoors? The TLR-1 HL is great. I don't think its 'too bright'. I had to modify one of the unused 'keys' that came with it, install it in reverse in the slot behind the cross bar of the light to make it lock in but other than that it is solid. It is my nightstand gun so I don't really worry about holster fitment or whatever. What is too bright? I think that is subjective. I have grabbed it twice now for 'bumps in the night' and turned the light on while still laying down in bed. My eyes adjust fine and I sure wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of the light. I'm not pointing it at a mirror. i think the 'too bright' argument is an over hyped internet arm chair commando type forum topic. |
