Colt Recon #432 of the 1000 made. With a little Ed Brown hot rod parts and Duragrips "Peanut" grips.
I've owned and carried this gun for about 11yrs. I can only guess I've put 5k of ammo through it. Never EVER had any issues.

It seems appropriate that for my 50th birthday I get a Series 70 with the '100 Years' rollmark... My birthday isn't until Sunday but the Colt came in this morning and I couldn't resist picking it up early...

My first pony...Commando Special .38.  Found it at a pawn shop a few blocks from my house.  Grips aren't original but they fit and look nice enough.  Haven't been able to find much info on this model since they were only produced for a few years.
