Not sure if this should go here or the 1911 forum


I have one that I never shoot and thinking about selling it or trading it for a HK USP45 compact...to go with my full size.

I know its a limited edition 1 of 500 made around 1997 or 98. It has a officers barrel/slide with a commander frame.

I just don't know the market for used 1911's nor if this would be worth more then a standard colt due to being limited edition.

Mine came from the gun store with crimson trace laser grips...I was with my friend when he bought it back in 1998..

Im the second owner, bought from a friend 12 or so years ago when he was hard up for $ and I don't recall what I paid.

I love cocked and locked but the 1911 just does not fit my hand.
