Has anyone dropped a TB in your Colt M45?  What did you use?

I have not, however, you should be aware that there is a very good chance that it will not "drop in". It will need to be fitted.

Storm Lake barrel. It needed to be fitted. The Hood was too wide and needed narrowing, plus a bit shaved from a lug.

The rule with 1911's is never ever expect any part to drop in and fit.

Just looking for some barrel suggestions.  Poor choice of phrases " drop in".

I have a CCU on order, and I'm thinking of buying and having Bar-Sto fit a barrel to it.
