What year is the best pre-1970 Python?  Or is there any difference?  I see they are all about the same price on Gunbroker.  I have a 1962 6" and am looking for a companion piece in 4".

Pythons were hand fitted. In opinion all Pythons are the same.I have never seen a bad one. Some showed wear and usage but, they shot great and functioned the way you would think a Python should. The prices have sky rocketed and I would never thought the owners would be asking the prices they are selling for.If you can find one in your price range buy it.Be patient and keep looking .
