I have three colts now I love them all.

I got this one couple of years ago.



Runs like a top now.  

Looks like it is just a Talo version of the Colt Commander XSE.

FWIW, the Colt XSE's are great guns.  I have a full sized model and it is nice.  Very good shooter.

There's a $400 price difference between the OP pistol and it's XSE counterpart, the o4860XSE.

I have the o4860XSE myself.

What I would be interested in is a definitive list of what's different between those VERY similar pistols, and show me what that $400 buys with the TXT model.

On quick inspection, it looks to me that you get a $100 value upgrade between a dark finished slide and "fancy" wood grips, and then for the remaining $300, you get a "Special Serial Number".

Woo Hoo.

Someone tell me if I'm being harsh.

The slide is Ion-Bonded, not just Cerakoted or whatever black, so its worth a bit more than $100 of the price difference. It also has night sights versus combat dots, so there's another $50-$100. They are very nice pistols but still probably higher than they should be.
