picked up a NIB X400 with Red laser, I cannot for the life of me adjust the laser to center...it is off left and I can only adjust to within 6" at 10 yards I tried the little bit at a time adjusting both screws to walk in the laser but that didnt work either.. thanks...

That is not good, I have been considering one of these, maybe not.
I would contact Surefire.
