I've found that like with anything you get what you pay for in leather. The guy I use is Parker leather. He's on Facebook. Excellent work for good price and usually quick turnaround.

Look into the Beltman for a belt, have been using mine for ? 5 years every day .45, 9mm + two spare magazines got the double thick with liner 1 1/2" still going strong but might replace it soon.

I have Bigfoot Gunbelts on the way.  Let me recommend you look at them.

I recently saw Privateer Leather recommended and took a look at them.  Decent prices and lead times compared to better known names.  Their stuff looks good on the internet.

Like you I like leather goods.  I've had Milt Sparks Summer Special II's for years and with the recent purchase of a new P290RS figured I'd be ordering another one.  However that left me with the need for a holster quicker that Sparks produces.  That led me to a Vedder LightTuck.  After using it for a while I'm not going to order a Sparks.  Rather surprising to me I find it very comfortable and of course it's sweat proof.  Cleans easily with a damp cloth.  I should also say it has very nice adjustable retention.  Let me suggest you try one and see if you become a convert too.  BTW, they typically ship in 2-3 days and you can have one in a week or so.

I'll second the vedder holster recommendation. I bought a pocket holster from them for my bodyguard .380 and the fit and finish is right up there with my Raven concealment holster and I got it in no time!

I've gotten two belts from Crossbreed's Seconds website.  Never could find a blem on the belts.  http://www.crossbreedseconds.com/belts.php?sort=length&order=1

I've bought two holsters as well.  I was able to find the blem on the holsters, but it doesn't matter because they're concealed holsters.  http://www.crossbreedseconds.com/index.php?sort=firearm&order=1
