I have an FNX-45 with a burris fastfire 2.

What distance should I be zeroing this?  25 yards?

I have no experience in this arena.

I believe the official ARFCOM distance is 87 yards.

If it was 9mm+P then 10 yards is optimum and also puts you on at 50.  Don't know how it is with the 45.

Are you not suppose to co witness it between the front and rear sights?

10 yards is the preferable distance to sight in your red dot and then confirm it at 25. Should be right on. Be sure to bench rest and not free hand it.

Would it be recommend that I sight in with my carry load? The pistol in question is my FN FNX 45 Tactical with a Trijicon RM06 RMR. That particular handgun serves as my nightstand weapon + travels with me a great deal.

Yes- You can use range ammo to get it zeroed and then fine tune with carry ammo and your good to go. I was damn close when I fine tuned it with carry ammo.

Exactly what I did, and was still dead nuts at 25 off a bench.

Same.  No discernible difference.

10 yards would be my suggestion.
