I can buy a Blackhawk Sportster locally for $20. I was kinda thinking about either uncle mikes or fobus paddle holsters, both of wich I have expieriance, but locally the blackhawk is all there is. This is NOT the one with the index finger release button, just normal kydex. My intent would be to use it as paddle holster with strong FBI cant. Does it hold close to the body? Any problems to report?

It's a serpa without the lock. It's better than fobus but don't expect it to be a quality holster.

I have one. I like it for what it is - a range holster. My 5" 1911 rides so high in that holster that I am afraid it will just fall out while walking over rough ground. It is quick on the draw, however....mighty quick. It offers no amount of retention whatsoever, and I'd be afraid to do any great amount of movement with my gun holstered in it.
