This stuff looks like it could be a good idea for critter that bites protection.
What it is a thicker stronger web 45 ACP case with a SMALL RIFLE primer (for additional strength) Oh and of course.... more gun powder.

SMC; Small Magnum Cartridge. Has anybody used this stuff to be able to tell how hard it is a handgun. How much of extra spring did you use they suggest et?

From the very brief reading that I did about this, it doesn't say that the web was designed stronger, just that it is stronger because they use a Small Primer pocket.

So why not just find some SP .45 brass, use a SRM primer, and load it to .45 Super specs?

Might be careful about that idea: Rifle primers are a little taller than pistol primers (so they need a deeper pocket).

Large Rifle primers, yes you are correct.

Small rifle primers, are identical to Small Pistol primers.

In fact, many reloaders only buy small rifle primers, so make it easier on their inventory.
