I have a Yugoslavian (Zastava) surplus M57 that is experiencing some issues with the trigger. It's the Yugoslavian version of a Tokarev, the trigger itself is similar to the 1911 trigger, but the trigger spring is different. Here is the M57 when the trigger is in the correct normal position.

However, by the time you fire off one and a half magazines, the trigger bow slips off of the trigger spring and drops down, as shown here.

This changes the angle of the trigger and renders the pistol unable to fire.

A few more trigger squeezes (while unable to fire) and the trigger is about to fall into the magazine well.

Is this a common issue with M57’s or Tokarevs, and are there any suggestions for a potential fix?
