Gen 4 G27?  It will move like a small tiny fraction, and go no further. I have used a small mallet. HELP ME!

'The lower pin'?  'Used a hammer'!  Gasp!  

The, 'lower pin' is the THU frame pin!  Glock pins:  #1, lock block pin.  #2, trigger pin, and #3 trigger housing unit pin.  Now do you know the proper order AND direction in which to remove and install these pins?  Well, no matter!  Here's the essential Glock pin maintenance tool:
