S&W Model 5904.  Phalanx - she's a battle-scarred beauty with years of character that she wears proudly. Third Generation S&W's are built solid and - when you can find one - are a joy to own.  With all of the hoopla about the polymer-framed firearms, it's comforting to know that there are still some of these Third Generations floating around and that they - in their heyday - were on guard, patrolling the streets right here in the U.S.A.

And here is Windsucker. She's a S&W Performance Center Shorty Forty. My Winter carry pistol.

..and lastly, what S&W photo thread isn't complete without displaying a nice N frame revolver?  Here's Mjolnir, a S&W 25-5 .45 Colt.  I have changed the grips on her since this photo was taken.

Added some Talon Grips to my Bodyguard. Really impressed with these grips.

Nothing special.

Bought a Bodyguard .380 and a 9mm Shield followed. These are my first S&W pistols. I'm pretty sure a full-size 9mm M&P is next.

These pistols are really slim! The Bodyguard goes right into the front pocket in a Tagua holster.

Here are my Smith & Wesson firearms:

4506 (one of my favorite handguns):

S&W 1911 (always wanted one of these -just picked this one up today -what a fantastic 1911!!):

M&P9c (my every day carry):

M&P9 (my bedside home defense weapon and my favorite handgun to shoot currently):

(Both the M&P9 and M&P9c have Apex Tactical DCAEK triggers installed)

...and a M&P15T (not so stock - not a handgun but it does have one of those 'scary' pistol grip so):

My 4506 with my Springfield XD 45 that has some sentimental value.  It was my first issue gun as a cop.  I was given the chance to buy it when it was made surplus.  I jumped at the chance to pick it up.

Just joined the Smith & Wesson family today, traded a Glock 23 for this super clean M&P9 today!! Came with all the stuff you get stock, and TruGlo TFO sights. I can't believe how well this thing fits my hand. Gun appears to have a stainless guide rod as well, with a spring that is painted blue on one end, is this stuff stock?

Here is my two older S&W revolvers.  A mod 66 no dash from 1976-77 (a sheriff's dept. turn in)  and a Mod 60-2 from 198.  Both with Pachmyer grips.

Mine, a 5906 that I just picked up on Friday for $350.  A 686-3, the midnight stainless one.  I am actively looking for a 4506 and 4566.

I want this modification for my 5904 and 3914!  Decock only, hell yeah!

And seeing your midnight 686, I kick myself once more for passing up a 4505 back in the late 90's.
