S&W Model 5904. Phalanx - she's a battle-scarred beauty with years of character that she wears proudly. Third Generation S&W's are built solid and - when you can find one - are a joy to own. With all of the hoopla about the polymer-framed firearms, it's comforting to know that there are still some of these Third Generations floating around and that they - in their heyday - were on guard, patrolling the streets right here in the U.S.A.

She's a S&W Performance Center Shorty Forty. My Winter carry pistol. http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/Excalibur745/100_4037_zpsed46e1d7.jpg ..and lastly, what S&W photo thread isn't complete without displaying a nice N frame revolver? Here's Mjolnir, a S&W 25-5 .45 Colt. I have changed the grips on her since this photo was taken. http://i1080.photobucket.com/albums/j335/Excalibur745/Mjolnir-Close-up.jpg |

Pine cones go in here, party liquors comes out here and proceed to here. Fights begin, finger prints are took, days is lost, bail is made, court dates are ignored, cycle is repeated.

Here is my two older S&W revolvers. A mod 66 no dash from 1976-77 (a sheriff's dept. turn in) and a Mod 60-2 from 198. Both with Pachmyer grips.
