You may discover that it's hard to find original magazines for that model. There is a company that sells a widget that fills the gap on 5906 magazines. These are better than the usual slip on spacers you see for Glocks, etc.

Thanks for posting pic. Going shooting this morning and try it out. Tonight I will get wife's fancy Nikon out and have her take better shots. I ordered one 5906 mag from Midway. Keep Shooting is advertising new aftermarket 6906 mags for $25. They are getting good reviews on sw forum.

I hope you have better success with yours than I've had with the two that I've owned. They're great guns but I could never shoot them well. Mine always shot low, even with changed front sights, and the groups weren't that good. I'm not that great of a pistol shot generally but did especially bad with compact Third Generation Smiths . . . I love them. I just can't shoot them.

I got mine from keep shooting in less than a week. It appears to be an exact clone of factory mag. Haven't used it yet though. Still waiting on S&W to replace my recalled grip. PO still had original grip on it.
