I just got an X300 ultra and the fit is super extremely tight on my M&P9 full size. I pretty much have to loosen the 6 screws to get it off. I've read about filing the light but what exactly do I need to file? The inside of the rails of the top of the "U" insert? Thanks.

I backed the screws off just a bit to adjust the tension.

Yep I backed them off a quarter turn each starting from tight until I got the tension I wanted.

And they don't keep backing off when y'all are shooting?

I have never had an issue. I feel like the rail is esssentially 'torquing' the screws by putting them in tension when the light is installed.

Thanks for the tip. I loosened the bolts about 3/8 of a turn and that did the trick. I put some loctite on them just to be sure they don't work loose.
