Yesterday I noticed I can rock the locking block up/down a little on the left side

I can see the pin move in the frame

The hole in the frame doesn't appear to be worn or egged though

Anybody ever have this happen or hear of this happening?

That doesn't sound good.  What does Smith & Wesson say?

I received a reply, they didn't really say much

They offered to send a coil pin to see if it helps, they didn't really say why it would get loose or if there's a known issue

What is a coil pin?

A type of roll pin, like a spiral roll pin but only one layer. Also called a spring coil pin

Eta:

And here's a spiral one

Not very many

Maybe 2500

I installed the new roll pin but it definitely wasn't as tight as I would have liked. It doesn't moved noticeably now but I'm not super confident it won't loosen

I might try to drive a pointed punch into the extra roll pin in they sent to see if I can expand it a tiny bit
