Don't you know base plates are all the rage?!
I do not have them but if you look in the picture thread, various people do. This forum doesn't get a lot of traffic. |

There is an old review in handgun discussion thread. I have not tried them. Review is probably 8 - 12 months ago.

I have a set in my standard and extended magazines and they work fine. They are a little tricky to install so watch the video and take your time. OTher than the installation, they are good to go.

ive got several sets. never had a jam with them. shot several hundred rounds thru the mags.

Why does the 9mm version use a regular coil type spring but the .40 uses a flat/ z spring?

I have no experience with the Shield version, but my friend was running the g42 magguts with pearce +1 extensions & could not get through a mag without hang ups.
He had no problems after switching back to just the extension OR magguts on the same mag. May be a problem specific to that configuration or platform, maybe not. |

Thanks for the reviews. I installed it in an 8 rounder and have almost 200 red through that may with now issues. Now I have to get more for my 7 rounder and other 8.
