I didn't know S&W made a slim 9mm Sigma in the '90s. There isn't much info about it online. Does anyone here know about reliability or any common problems with this model? The size, simple operation (DAO, fixed bbl/blowback, no safety, no mag release on frame, no slide stop), low sights, and low cost are appealing.

When I saw one in a store and asked about it, the guys behind the counter had nothing good to say. After I learned more about it I understood why.

Big brother to the 380 version. I remember reading that S&W was actually buying them back in the last few years.  No idea if true or the usual internet BS.  I MIGHT pay $200 for a novelty, but nothing more (and I would not carry it for protection).
