Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 96 compact recoil spring

Looking for recommendations on a new recoil spring for my 96compact.  Ive heard that the 96 uses the same spring as the 92 so should i get a heavier spring than standard ? Also would the locking block be the same for all models?  Thanks for the help

I use a Wilson flat wire spring in my compact. I'd check with them with what they recommend.

Wilson had what i was looking for.  Without having to start a new thread does anyone know if a holster for a 92 compact will work for the 96 compact?  I would think they would at least be close enough but wanted to see if anyone could say for sure

The only problem would be if you had a gun with a rail and bought a holster meant for one without. A rail less gun fits fine in a holster meant for a gun with a rail.

I will typically buy all my holsters for an m9a1 since it will fit my vertec, 92fs, and m9a1 compact.
