Got my 21A. That thing is a lot of fun to shoot.

Now I'm wanting a Tomcat .32

FO or No FO?

You know you do, or you wouldn't have made the thread. Don't look to me to talk you out of it, I'm a known enabler...

Newer guns don't have the frame crack issue right?

As far as being a decent pistol, the Tomcat is OK. I have owned two different ones over the years, but cut them loose. IMO, the Tomcat is overly large for a .32 acp pocket pistol. Compared to a Keltec P32, the Tomcat looks and feels much larger and less pocket friendly. And I am a Beretta fan, owning two 21A's and three 92 variants. I just never warmed up to the Tomcat. YMMV

I know I do.  Are they still making new ones?

I think production was stopped.

Probably stopped for good reason. It's the one gun I would let go and not miss.

Latest word on the Beretta Forum is that they are still made. I was surprised to hear it.

They do still crack. I would not buy one if I were you.

I love mine, have put around 500rds through it (no issues), and I put Altamont grips on it.  The Altamont's make it make easier to handle (plus they feel better).  I have them on my 21A also.

Get one; you know you want it :-)

I would have zero interest, but if you want one buy it.

I've wanted one ever since I handled a 1st gen at a pawn shop. Look for a stainless one as they have a heavier slide that reduces frame cracking issues.
I have also read that the crack, when/ if it happens,  is located at a spot that can just be cut out and drive on. Like the old Colt Delta 10mm. I don't know how true that is but it seems like it might hold true.

They are very hard to find, and almost double the msrp if you do find one that isn't beat up. That's why I also bought a 21a. I needed a tiny Beretta to hold me over.
I just hope the rumors are true about them making them again.
