We got one at the shop, because we'd been waiting two years to see it.
Yuck.  OP observations are correct, and I never want to get another one. Horrible grip, horrible mag release, massive bore axis, and an almost sharp slide release. |

I am so happy with my Pico that I sold my LCP. Similar size and weight but doesn't bang up my trigger finger when I fire it. I don't have difficulty racking the slide. Trigger is just the way I want for a CCW. Perfectly happy with the magazine release too. Pico is great. Happy to ditch the LCP.

I like it fine, but the trigger is no target trigger. You have to press it all the way and with conviction, but I do feel more comfortable with having one round in the chamber as a result.
