Ran it today, no videos though.

It ran perfectly with 147gr and 124gr suppressed. Wouldn't function properly with 158gr, which was a little disappointing. I think it needs a lighter recoiled spring to handle the reduced load. Gonna have to look for one as the 158s are my primary suppressed load.

Unsuppressed it was perfect.

The gun handles beautifully and really is a soft shooter. The slide is so smooth it feels like it takes no effort for it to cycle. The trigger smoothed out and lightened a lot since the time I picked it up, just from dry firing and the range trip today.

Overall I really like it!

Walked into my favorite gun dealer and he one left of original two just shitting in the case...so I got myself a Xmas eve present. It even comes in nice box for under the tree.
Gun looks better in person then pics and feels great in the hand. The slide moves along the frame like it was already broken in. Even though the Tyrant looks great on it I also bought a AAC 9S on Thursday that when approved I might cerokote to match....pics later tonight!

We have twins. Love my Tirant 9 on mine.

What weight rounds are you going to put through yours? I'd had some issues which I'm attributing to break-in with 158gr. Everything else runs perfectly.

Local shop had it and I lost all sense of a desire to wait for lower prices.

Here is its first victim, 3 mags in.

Love it so far!

When they release a black version I'll pick one up. I hope the black version will have the 4.7" barrel. I remember reading on Langdon's Instagram account this is likely how the black version will be set up if released.

Getting WAY ahead of yourself, man. This is Beretta we are talking about. They take forever to release anything new. And, this thing literally just came out.. And not even in large numbers

Someone asked in another thread awhile back I cant find if the 22 conversion kit would work with the m9a3. I tested it out today and it shot great!

I've got the same setup as you with an Inforce APL on the M9A3. Have you found anyone with a decent OWB holster for that combo?

Yep that's the one I have as well. Works with ever beretta I own. My only  complaint with it is the locking tab on the top does not work with the hammer cocked. It hits the hammer and does not engage all the way and can fall down again. So you have to decock any time you want to secure it. Plus it does not friction fit so it will fall out without the top cover thing.

They only had one left and it wasnt even on their site. I emailed asking and he said they had one. I called and ordered it. $1,068.20 shipped to my FFL and then another $15 to my FFL for the transfer.

All in all I gotta say its not a bad deal considering how damn long ive been looking for one.

Has anyone figured out what serial they start at?

Also, regarding holsters, does anyone make a custom kydex one that fits? Someone over at Raven Concealment claims in a review that the one they got made for the M9A1 (with a special request or modification for an extended barrel) fits the M9A3 perfectly. However, their customer support claims nothing they have can work with the M9A3, it's too different. Seems kinda bull. Anyone know who makes any yet? Or how to make a request to Raven Concealment that'd work with the M9A3?

The front part of the frame for the M9A3 and M9A1 is exactly the same. So is a standard Vertec Beretta as well.

As long as the holster is not closed at the bottom - an M9A3 will fit in an M9A1 holster. The M9A3 just has the longer barrel - so, you must have an open bottom holster.

What is the consensus about whether the extended piston is necessary for this gun for us swr/silencerco owners?  I pick mine up Monday so I'm trying to see if I need to order an extended piston.

Everything I have seen says you still need the extended piston when using an osprey but with the octane you can use the standard piston.

This target is from yesterday - 17 rounds at 7 yards. Considering I don't have the steadiest hands - I thought it was pretty good:

Octane with standard piston works just fine.

I will be buying one this year at some point. Hopefully by then the G versions will be available. Or at least the conversion kits. I don't care if the new safety design is better, I hate them with a passion in DA guns.

Does anyone wale have problems with their pistol throwing burnt powder back at them. My m9a3 hits me in the face with powder a lot. I can also see sparks sometimes going out of it. 1000 rounds though it so far and no malfunctions
