Thanks. I had a choice of Inox or black - but a Beretta 92s is the only gun I actually prefer in black over stainless

Yes, very nice.  Hey, can you remind me again what holster you like for carrying a full size 92/M9?

I have a Comptac Pro Under Cover. They replaced that with the Comptac infidel. Its the same holster, only now you can remove the belt clip if it ever broke. So, much better

I carried 365 days for 3 years with that holster

What am I seeing here?  A round trigger guard on a non railed frame that doesn't appear to be old because of the slant on the dustcover.  My mind just exploded.

Shoot, top of page.

Is it one you sent in?  I've never seen a rounded trigger guard with a slanted dustcover.  I don't think.   I only remember the rounded on the real old ones, and the newer railed ones.  Which is why that link doesn't help me Sgt Kiwi.  Do you get what I'm saying?

Wow, that's wild.  I was thinking I could ALMOST see where they ground it down in the pic.  But it doesn't seem like there'd be a whole lot of metal there, especially if you ground it to the point to get rid of the serrations.  Or maybe they fill them in first.

I see somebody actually did what I had been wanting to do. Take a stoegar cougar .45 railed lower and complete it with beretta cougar parts. Looks very very nice. frame could use a little refinishing but that's some awesomesauce right there.

Well actually this is an unfired Beretta  prototype manufactured in 2004 for the LAPD. Only 13 of these were manufactured. They were made available last year and all were purchased by members of the Beretta forum. IMHO this is the ideal all around handgun, very accurate, ideal size, ultra reliable, easy to carry. I, like you wanted this very configuration and nearly settled for a Stoeger, though I didn't want the combat trigger guard as I prefer rounded, then this became available exactly how I would have designed it if I could. A no brainer.

Here's another pic.

Did it come with those grips or the wrap around ones?  I've got one I'm probably going to pick up tomorrow [before my dangerous boating outing of course ] and I'm wondering which grips it shipped with...

Nice gun btw.

Thanks - it came with the wrap around grips. They make the gun too big for me. I use the regular Hogue grip panels on all my 92 Berettas.

There is a member named WAL at the Beretta Forum who will drill and install medallions in Hogue grips. I use these grips on every 92 I own or have owned previously.

I also installed the skeleton hammer, and I have a D spring installed as well. IN fact, the D spring I used was in an old beater Beretta 92 I used to have - I had put 4000 rounds thru the gun with that spring. So, right now, the DA pull is really awesome.
