So I was wondering if it would be OK to use the stock hammer spring on a standard M9/92 with the Beretta factory skeletonized hammer? I was concerned about the spring being too powerful for the lighter hammer and possibly causing it to fracture or hit too hard and damage other parts?

I'm aware that the "D" spring is out there for these as well, but don't have access to one locally and I was hoping to take the pistol out shooting today. What do you all think?

Thanks!
