I picked up one of the P228 parts kits last year along with a German made P229 frame to build a P228. Its finally back from CCR.

Parts kit before

Frame before

How she looks now..

Turned out pretty amazing IMO, pictures don't do it justice.. It's CCR's tritanium w/black controls. Only mods I made was sights, short reach trigger srt kit and installed all new springs.

Nice work OP. I've stayed away from sigs only due to the fact that if I shoot one, I will probably end up owning several

That's what happened when I shot my first glock

Well...what actually happens is that typically after trying a SIG, you would sell all your GLOCKS

ETA:  Nice re-finish OP!

Now that's just blasphemy right there haha. I thought there was a law against selling your guns? Pretty sure you're only allowed to add to your collection
At least that's what I tell my wife.

Looks good.  Did they sand down the right front slide to remove the gouge?

Thanks for the quick reply......and a pictures does say more than a thousand words.  I'll have to look that company up for some refinishing work later.  They also come highly recommended  on Sigforum.

Dig the color. I rarely shoot my 229 lately. Maybe I should more, though.

Might need a threaded barrel first.

The quality of their work was top notch. Their customer service is certainly lacking in my experience.
