I think Saiga's aren't being imported anymore, just so you know.

I do not enjoy the gun of our enemy. John Moses Browning would have been 160 years old this past Friday, and he WANTS you to have another 1911.

Uhmmmm. I like AKs and don't like 1911s and I would make that trade in a heartbeat. Don't walk. Run to make that trade.

I like my AK, and Saiga is a great quality rifle, but the Sig is worth more cash wise. True that Saigas may not be imported anymore but if the single stack magwell hasn't been opened up and it's got the 'sporter' factory stock it's just not as desireable as a 'real' AK. My LGS has a Saiga 5.45x39 new for $599. What's a new Sig 1911 going for these days?

If the AK is the only one you have, maybe you want to keep it considering how explosive the world situation is getting. Only the precursors to WWII were more threatening than what's happening now. But if more cash value is the goal, trade!
